(Chicago, IL, August 8, 2024)- AHIMA is pleased to announce the appointment of Dana Perrino as the Chief Member Services Officer. With three years of invaluable experience as the VP of Membership, Dana's new role will see her spearheading member acquisition and retention efforts, as well as developing essential resources to enhance engagement and support the overall member community experience. Additionally, Dana will oversee Component Relations and Customer Relations within the organization.

Dana Perrino brings with her a wealth of expertise in Association Management, accumulating 18 years of experience in the field. Her journey includes climbing the volunteer ranks of Meeting Professionals International and managing chapters and membership at their Global headquarters. Dana also owned a consulting company, offering guidance to non-profit boards on governance and board structure. Before joining AHIMA in December 2021, she served as the Vice President of Membership and Stakeholder Relations for The Institute of Internal Auditors, where she led membership initiatives and global customer relations strategies.
Dana Perrino graduated from Chicago’s Roosevelt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management and has been an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) since 2014.
