Pam Oachs, MA, RHIA, CHDA, FAHIMA serves as a full-time faculty member and program director of the undergraduate Health Informatics and Information Management Program at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. She has prior experience in quality management, patient access, and information technology. She has been a speaker at AHIMA’s Assembly on Education, CAHIIM’s Summit on Higher Education, and other education venues. Pam has served in HIM leadership roles at the regional, state, and national levels including as a member of AHIMA’s Commission on Certification for HIIM and as a peer reviewer for CAHIIM. Pam is also a co-editor for the AHIMA textbook, HIM: Concepts, Principles and Practice.
