What makes you uniquely qualified as an educator or practitioner to serve on the Council for Excellence in Education? (Please include what capacity/degree level of programming in academia.) 

I am uniquely qualified as an educator and practitioner to serve on the Council for Excellence in Education in certification preparation, Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and in process of obtaining Doctoral level of programming in academia. My qualifications allow me to serve those seeking education and guidance on multiple levels to be able to reach healthcare professionals from varying backgrounds, levels of profession, and differing educational backgrounds. I seek to include, empower, educate, and advise those in the health information profession of the future in a new way while supporting AHIMA’s vision, mission, and strategies to move the needle on additional opportunities for those who are here and those to come.
