Susan Scully is the director of the health information management department at Rowan College at Burlington County, New Jersey. Previously she was coding supervisor at Deborah Heart and Lung Center. An advocate for education in health information, she enjoys introducing new students to the profession as well as watching them grow in the field and become colleagues. Scully has been actively involved in the New Jersey Health Information Management Association, serving as a committee member, secretary, director/delegate, and president three times. She is a graduate of Burlington County College, Stephens College, and the College of St. Scholastica.
