Judi Hofman is a division privacy officer for CommonSpirit Health with oversite for Catholic Health Initiative (CHI) Pacific Northwest locations in Washington and Oregon and Dignity Health Nevada. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a master’s certificate in Biomedical Informatics. Hofman has credentials in Certified Health Privacy and Information Security (CHPS) through AHIMA; she is also a Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP) and a Certified HIPAA Security Specialist (CHSS). She is an active AHIMA volunteer and has served as co-chair for the AHIMA House of Delegates Envisioning Collaborative. She is also a  past co-chair of the AHIMA National Privacy and Security Practice Council, and has served as an AHIMA volunteer media spokesperson and an AHIMA CHPS facility educator. Currently, Hofman is president of the Washington State Health Information Management Association (WSHIMA) and previously was president of the Oregon Health Information Management Association (OrHIMA).
