June Bronnert

June Bronnert is the senior director of informatics at Intelligent Medical Objects Inc. (IMO), where she provides health information management expertise internally and externally for IMO’s terminology solutions.  

Prior to joining IMO, she held various positions including professional practice director at AHIMA, where she provided professional expertise to develop AHIMA products and services aimed at furthering the art and science of health information management (HIM).  She was responsible for content development and technical reviews of the Association’s products and resources.

Bronnert’s experience includes positions ranging from coding professional, coding supervisor, and director at various facilities, including the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA).  She was a member of the National Coding Council at the VA where she provided coding educational programs. 

Bronnert was an adjunct educator for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College’s RHIT program and the University of Cincinnati RHIA program. She has also taken an active role in her  state and local HIM association. Bronnert obtained a master’s degree in Health Informatics from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management degree from Indiana University.
