Dr. Rudman has contributed to more than 60 refereed publications; delivered 100 international and national presentations; and worked on more than $50 million of funded research projects. He currently serves as a reviewer for several scholarly journals and is the editor in chief for Perspectives in Health Information Management, the research journal for AHIMA. Dr. Rudman has also served as a grant reviewer for AHRQ and several healthcare associations. His primary research areas include the use of HIT to reduce health disparity, the adoption of HIT/HIE in rural communities, workforce development, and workflow and work practice redesign.
