Margaret M. (Maggie) Foley, PhD, RHIA, CCS

Clinical Associate Professor, Health Information Management Department, Temple University

Dr. Foley has over 25 years experience in various aspects of health information management (HIM). She has held the position of director of HIM for a large acute care teaching hospital and a psychiatric facility. She has also had experience as a consultant for inpatient reimbursement and coding strategies. Dr. Foley has extensive experience in HIM education in both academic and industry-based settings.
 
Dr. Foley received her MBA in Health Administration and a PhD in Public Health from Temple University. She is very active in HIM-professional associations at the local, state, and national levels.
