Linda A. Hyde is a consultant currently participating in projects related to electronic data collection for performance measurement and other initiatives. As a terminology analyst for these projects she regularly works with various classification and terminology systems including ICD-9, ICD-10, RxNorm, LOINC, and SNOMED CT. Previous positions include developing data collection and reporting software systems for performance measurement and risk adjustment and data analytics for clinical outcomes research projects. She has extensive knowledge of data standards and data quality and regularly speaks and publishes on these topics.
Ms. Hyde has served as chair and member of the AHIMA Classification and Terminology and the Quality Measurement and Secondary Data Use practice councils and was a member of the NQF Expert Panel on Coding Maintenance. She is currently a member of the AHIMA Data Governance and Analytics practice council and an AHIMA-certified ICD 10 CM/PCS trainer.
