Kelly L. Miller, MA, RHIA, CPHIMS

Kelly Miller is an Assistant Professor in Health Informatics and Information Management, College of Computer and Information Sciences, at Regis University. Prior to Regis, Miller worked in various HIM roles; including assistant director at an acute care hospital, director of records management for a hospital network and director at a specialty hospital. In these roles she oversaw all HIM operations including a system-wide records retention/destruction project, scanning and archiving of medical records and electronic health record implementation.

Miller has been active in the Colorado Health Information Management Association (CHIMA); serving as delegate, director, Education Committee chair and co-founded a student committee to support HIT; and received an Outstanding Volunteer award from CHIMA. She has served on the CEE's Curricular Workgroup for three years, priors to becoming a member of the CEE.
