A health information management (HIM) professional for over 20 years, Ms. Bunge’s focus has been on coding in both hospital and provider settings. Prior to consulting she was an HIM manager in an acute care hospital.

She has been active in her state association, serving as past president and in various other roles. Ms. Bunge is a former commissioner for AHIMA’s Commission on Certification for Health Informatics and Information Management (CCHIIM), has presented numerous educational workshops, and has spoken on a variety of coding-related topics.
