Online on Demand offers single-user electronic copies of book chapters, journal articles, practice briefs, and other AHIMA content. Original AHIMA content will also be made available exclusively to online customers. Materials are made available through time-limited access to an AHIMA database. Access is given via an e-mail link sent after the customer orders the product. Upon placing an order, customers have access to the document for 14 days and can print one complete copy of the purchased document. Orders can be placed easily through the AHIMA Web Bookstore. Online on Demand products are ideal for students who need one-time access to AHIMA content for a class or research but are not student members of AHIMA. Other nonmembers who cannot access AHIMA's Body of Knowledge and members of AHIMA who want access to special original content not available in the Body of Knowledge or print resources will also find the program convenient and easy to use.


Online on Demand products are available only for personal use by single, noninstitutional customers. Educators who wish to post AHIMA on Demand products on their web sites or private computer networks may purchase electronic documents through Textbooks on Demand. Electronic documents purchased through Textbooks on Demand must be posted on secure, password-protected sites or networks.The purchase price of an electronic document from Textbooks on Demand includes a site license agreement good for unlimited students in the same class on the same site. The license must be renewed for subsequent classes.
