Long-Term Care Health IT Summit

The 2007 LTC HIT Summit continues the precedent set in 2005 and 2006 by bringing together stakeholders from post-acute and LTC organizations to focus on critical Health IT initiatives in the industry. This year’s summit provides a mix of strategy-setting, updates on current industry initiatives, HIT education, and technology vendor interaction. Recognize common interests and visions in long term care and set a course of collaboration to improve the planning for and use of health information technology. At the end of this summit a “final report’ will be produced and posted to the website. If you work in post-acute and LTC this is the conference to attend on Health IT.

Submit Case Studies
Summit co-sponsors, strategic partners, attendees and vendors are invited to submit case studies related to successful HIT implementation in LTC.  Case studies may, but are not required to, address one or more summit sessions and areas of interest: Business Case/Funding, Quality Initiatives, Research and Benchmarking, Standards, Medication Safety and E-Prescribing, Chronic Care/Wellness Management, and Emerging Issues. Submissions are due by June 1, 2007 to nrobinson@amda.com.

The HIT Summit offers the opportunity for vendors and industry consultants to connect face to face with prospective buyers and colleagues. The Product Showcase will be open Wednesday, June 20 from 5:00-7:00pm and 8:00am-12: 15 pm on Thursday, June 21. Your space will include a table, chair, wastebasket and 500-watt power.
