Building on the 2007 Legal EHR Conference, the 2008 conference provides new information and industry expert’s perspectives by delving deeper into current and emerging issues impacting the legal EHR, evidentiary support and records management. AHIMA is calling for presentation submissions focusing on key summit priorities including; contracts and negotiations, corporate compliance, E-discovery processes, EHRs in litigation, electronic records management and enterprise content management including records/content lifecycle mangement, fraud management, information security practices, information custodianship, guardianship and stewardship, organizational practices and system functionality to support the legal health record and data integrity, organizational strategy, provider liability and standard of care issues relative to the EHR and the EHR as the legal business record. Abstracts will be accepted through Monday, April 14, 2008.
