Merit Scholarships 

AHIMA’s Foundation of Research and Education (FORE) offers merit scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students pursuing degrees in health information administration and health information technology. Scholarships are also available to credentialed health information management (HIM) professionals pursuing graduate degrees in an area related to HIM practice.

Faculty Development Stipends

FORE Faculty Development Stipends are intended to encourage excellence in effective teaching and leadership in areas related to e-HIM (TM).

Grant-in-Aid and Dissertation Assistance Awards

The FORE Grant-in-Aid program provides funding to AHIMA members involved in applied research in support of FORE's research priorities.  The Dissertation Assistance awards are available to members conducting research in fulfillment of their Masters of PhD requirements.
