FORE Faculty Development Stipends are intended to encourage excellence in effective teaching and leadership in areas related to e-HIM (TM). Program goals are to: Expedite curriculum innovation and development in e-HIM content areas;
Research and develop new methods of teaching, evaluation, and assessment in the HIM learning process; Support faculty in maintaining the highest standards of knowledge and practice in e-HIM; Integrate new technologies effectively into the HIM learning process; Strengthen the capacity of HIM academic programs to address emerging issues in design and implementation of the electronic health record at all levels of healthcare delivery, in support of an electronic health information infrastructure.
