Foundation of Research and Education (FORE)
The Foundation of Research and Education
is the 501 (c)(3) charitable affiliate of AHIMA, providing the financial
and intellectual resources to support continuous innovation and advances in
health information management through research, education, and public awareness
initiatives.
In this section you'll find our mission statement,
a list of the current Board of Directors, and the most recent FORE Annual Report.Research / Scholarships and Stipends
FORE provides scholarships, dissertation assistance
awards, applied research grants and faculty development stipends. Find links to guidelines and applications, as well as
general information on FORE research priorities and
summary reports on completed research projects.
Progress reports and data from the Workforce Assessment Study can be found here.
You will also fnd links to FORE-funded practice information on e-HIM and information about the FORE Library: HIM Body of Knowledge. And for a little inspiration, check the recipients of the annual Triumph Awards.
