Teresa (Terri) Bunsen has corporate oversight for the HIM departments at four hospital sites and responsibility for ambulatory scanning and release of information for NorthShore Medical Group. Ms. Bunsen began her career with NorthShore in 1986 at Highland Park Hospital, and was promoted to corporate director of HIM in 2002. In addition, she is the chief privacy officer for NorthShore. In this role her oversight for the HIPAA privacy regulations includeshospitals and clinics, medical groups, research institutes, and home services. Ms. Bunsen obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Illinois State University and has worked in the field of HIM since 1982.
