Not-So-Silent Auction

The Not-So-Silent auction takes place each year at the AHIMA Annual Convention and runs over the course of three days. The Not-So-Silent auction supports the AHIMA Foundation Merit Scholarship program, and the 2009 event raised a record $31,265.  Through donations and bids from AHIMA Convention attendees, the Foundation was able to expand educational opportunities for outstanding undergraduate, graduate and advanced students pursuing their education in health information management and health information technology.  A total of 64 scholarships totaling $86,500 were awarded in 2009.
