Melanie Endicott, MBA/HCM, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P

Melanie Endicott provides professional practice support for products and services related to coding and reimbursement, including seminars, publications, and Web-based training content and development. As a practice resources specialist, Endicott works closely with AHIMA’s Distance Education staff in the development, maintenance, and delivery of the Coding Basics program.
Endicott has over six years experience in the acute care setting performing both inpatient and outpatient coding. Endicott is also the Program Director of the HIT program at Spokane Community College in Washington State.
Endicott received her Bachelor’s in HIM in 1999 from Carroll College and her Master’s in Business Administration and Health Care Management in 2005 from the University of Phoenix. Over the past 10 years, Endicott has been actively involved in local and state HIM activities by serving on multiple committees and various officer positions.
