AHIMA Disaster Planning and Recovery Resources

AHIMA has compiled a short list of practical resources that may be helpful during disaster planning or disaster recovery. Even more information is available in the AHIMA Body of Knowledge. Other sites, such as the Department of Health and Human Services’ Public Health Emergency preparedness site and the Federal Emergency Management Agency, may also be good references.

To contribute to the AHIMA Foundation’s ongoing disaster recovery fund, go to the Health Information Relief Operation page on the AHIMA Foundation Web site.
