Media Information.

AHIMA invites members of the press to attend its 79th Convention and Exhibit. Registration is complimentary to those journalists attending the conference to provide editorial coverage. Press passes provide full admission to all of the Convention’s educational sessions and exhibits.

Registration Information
To be eligible for a press pass, you must be a current writer of editorial content for a newspaper, magazine, Internet, radio, or other television organization that gathers and reports news. Please be prepared to present credentials indicating your editorial role upon request.

To request a press pass, please send an e-mail to craig.may@ahima.org and include your name, title, publication, publication Web site URL, address, and telephone number. If you are working as a freelance writer, please give the business name of the publication you are on assignment for and your editor’s contact information.

Please note that press passes will not be mailed. If you are eligible to receive a press pass, it must be picked up onsite at the AHIMA Press Room. Press passes can be picked up starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6.
