Requirements for the Maintenance of Certification

Associate-based Credential (RHIT, CCA, CCS, CCS-P)
Eligibility for an associate-based AHIMA credential requires, at minimum, a high school diploma (or equivalent) up to an associate's degree from a college or university.

	Single Credential
	Multi-Credentialed

Baccalaureate-based Credential (RHIA, CHP, CHPS)
Eligibility for a baccalaureate-based AHIMA credential requires, at minimum, a baccalaureate degree from a college or university.
