HIA CAHIIM Accredited Programs

Transcripts

All first-time candidates must submit an official transcript from the school registrar. The transcript must be marked "official" with the seal of the college, university or program. Transcripts must include the degree or certificate earned and the date of graduation. The applicant is responsible for any fees the school charges for the transcript.

Educational Program Codes

RHIA® and RHIT® candidates must record an educational program code (EPC) on their application. 
Please note: CAHIIM accreditation must be granted to a pending educational program before a candidate is deemed eligible to sit for the examination. Candidates who submit an application listing an educational program that has not been accredited will not be deemed eligible. Contact the director of the educational program or AHIMA to verify accreditation status.
