CCA Job Analysis

To fulfill aspects of its credentialing mission, AHIMA has contracted with Thomson Prometric to conduct a job analysis in 2005 to ensure that the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) certification program reflects the most important and current practices in the work performed by CCAs.

Newly developed CCA Competency Statements, as a result of the ongoing job analysis, will be implemented beginning March 29, 2006.
