AHIMA Career Center — Monday, October 9, through Wednesday, October 11, 2017

The AHIMA Career Center is the perfect place to explore your current and future paths in health information management (HIM). Whether it is hearing from dynamic speakers in the Career Prep Theater, meeting with recruiters at the AHIMA Career Fair, having your headshot taken by a professional photographer, or having your resume reviewed, you don’t need to be currently looking for a career opportunity, but you just may find your next step!

  • AHIMACon16’s Career Fair was a smash: featuring free makeovers from Bobbi Brown beauty consultants before having a free professional photo taken, attendees were able to meet with over a dozen prestigious HIM companies that had current openings, pick up a printed guide with additional job postings, and meet with a career coach for a resume review. Make time in your busy AHIMACon schedule to spend time at the AHIMA Career Fair in Los Angeles!
  • The Career Prep Theater is one of the hidden gems of AHIMACon: an intimate space where industry leaders and employers speak with students, new graduates, and HIM professionals who are dedicated to growing and exploring in their careers. The strategies you learn—and professional contacts you make—may make a huge difference as you plan your future.
