AHIMA ICD-10 Ambassador Program
The Ambassador Program is a support program for AHIMA approved ICD-10 trainers. To become an Ambassador you must have attended an AHIMA Train the Trainer Academy and pass the End of Learning Assessment.
All current AHIMA-approved ICD-10 trainers are eligible to enroll. Designed to support ICD-10 trainers, the program provides several different benefits.
Enrollment is now open for AHIMA’s ICD-10 Ambassador Program. To belong to the program, Ambassadors must pay a fee of 200 dollars, starting in 2012. In addition, Ambassadors that enrolled before 2012, will also be assessed this fee to remain an Ambassador.
The guide below details to program benefits of the Ambassador Program and the difference between an AHIMA Approved ICD-10 Trainer and a trainer that is an Ambassador. The guide also explains copy right issues and the renewal process for trainers.

Ambassadors must provide students with documentation on the CEUs that have earned and that the training has been conducted by the Ambassador. A CEU certificate template is provided to Ambassadors that they must use in the educational program.

- A dedicated ICD-10 Ambassador CoP (AHIMA members only) and Linkedin group
- Online meeting support. AHIMA has parterned with a vendor named 123 Sign-up to assist Ambassadors with meeting support (online meeting registration and payment processing).
